What is a Martial Arts lifestyle?

Becoming a Martial Artist is not just attending class 1-2 times per week. It requires daily practice and living a martial arts lifestyle. Training daily will help you in many different aspects of your life as well as providing clarity for your mind, body, and spirit. Martial arts is a healthy lifestyle that can positively affect a person’s life in amazing ways. Proper breathing, as practiced in the martial arts, leads to a more meditative outlook on life, lowering the heart rate while delivering more oxygenated blood to the brain. This also helps us to slow down in the moment and deal with those stressful situations, looking at the world through more relaxed and confident eyes. Also, in helping us become relaxed and confident in what we do know, we can live in the present and not worry about what we do not know or cannot change. A person with a martial arts lifestyle develops a spirit that allows them to see the opportunities in life rather than being bogged down with trivial day to day circumstances. Having the dedication to train martial arts on a daily basis will also increase the body’s strength and flexibility. I believe that everyone has to ability to become a black belt. My goal is to help everyone get on the right path and teach them how to live a martial arts lifestyle to become the best version of their self.
