Mr. Jeremy first started his martial arts training back in 1992 at a judo school where his cousins were members. He went back and forth between martial arts training and football until football took over in high school. Jeremy went on to play college football at Hardin-Simmons University and study business management. After HSU Jeremy went to Universal Technical Institute and got a degree in Automotive Technology. With his football career being over Jeremy went straight back into martial arts. At this time Jeremy was married and had new born son, so along with a full time job and martial arts training Mr. Jeremy started teaching Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Mixed Martial Arts at the schools he was training at. After receiving his 2nd degree black belt in Karate he was approached to purchase Mansfield Martial Arts. While owning his new school Jeremy has gone on to be 2-1 in MMA fights, received his BJJ black belt and 3rd degree karate black belt in 2013. Mr. Jeremy trains under TKD 5th degree Master Josh Arcemont at Hero Martial Arts for his karate and under Professor Marcos Santos a 5th degree black belt under Master Carlos Machado for his jiu jitsu. Mr. Jeremy has built a relationship with Mansfield ISD and volunteers his time to do school talks to help inspire the next generation of kids to be positive leaders.
